I'm Wauks, the Brand Manager for pRO ^^;
As you all know we've been having a lot of problems with Thor
For the past few months
This includes the series of bugs and the failure of the anti-bot system
For all of these, let me humbly apologize - it is your right to expect them, and we will continue to strive to deliver the fixes at the soonest possible time
For the Anti-Bot, we've went as far as sending a formal complaint to Gravity
It is their failure to deliver, because they were the ones who said that Thor would be bot free. I am not making excuses for Level-up though, it is our fault as well for not making sure that it was 100% full proof.
They are developing a system - which involves client/server/account authentication - something that hopefully will finally assure the security of thor from bots.
We know what you guys want - and we failed to deliver on several occasions, and for that we apologize.
Now for the bugs
This is the hardest part, Lol.
Gravity made another error recently when they did a script to remove illegal items from the DB.
This was last Wednesday I think, or just recently
The script inadvertently corrupted majority of the character files in Thor
However we were able to notice it quickly - and we were able to stop the scan from hitting the entire RO population
And we were able to limit the damage
from the whole character
to just the Item Database
We've met with Gravity for several hours for the past few days trying to find a solution
And it boils down to this
We will have an item rollback (no character level or EXP)
the rollback will probably be 3-4 weeks long - because the data was corrupted that bad
Of course - it would be suicide to do this without giving all of you compensation
I don't have the complete compensation package yet
but we're looking at bonus exp and drop rates
exclusive to thor
for 2 weeks - 1 month
we will also be giving players free game time
as well as free rok points so you can shop in the hypermart @_@
